Miraculous Legend of 101 and Prof. Zhao
The beginning of 101
Longer than 40 years ago, a young lady with hair loss took extremely measure by committing suicide. This triggered a desire in a young, talent Chinese traditional doctor to invent a medicine to help people suffering from hair loss. With good knowledge of herbs for treatment for hair loss that he got from his father, who was also a traditional Chinese doctor, Dr Zhao started a detailed research on a hair growth formula.
Where’s the 101 name from
From 1968 to1974, Dr Zhao tested numerous combinations. After approximately a hundred testing, he finally succeeded. In the memory of these hundred failures, he named the herbal lotion as “101 lotion” (later to be named as 101 Hair Re-growth Tonic) and this original formula was launched into the Chinese market.
The Growing of 101
In 1986, 101 Hair Re-growth Tonic is being used widely at clinic level, as it has the 97.5% effective rate and 84.8% cure rate to hair loss condition. It passed the relevant technical department assessment and major achievement award to the national body.
In 1987, In order to help the large number of hair loss patients, Dr Zhao started to manufacture more 101 products by built two 101 factories in He Nan province and Beijing.
In 1989, Chinese leader Deng Xiao Ping presents one of his country’s national treasures, the 101 products, to Japanese Prime Minister Noboru Takeshita to promote good will between these two great nations. Three months later, Japanese newspaper "Yomiuri Shimbun" reported that Noboru Takeshita‘s hair was getting much thickness.
In January 1990, 101 have passed the nation’s Health Ministry assessment. It becomes the first special type of cosmetic hair care products in China allowing manufacture and distribution.
He was the pioneer of China hair care industry.
In 1992, 101 products were allowed to enter the Greek market.
In 1993, with the support of Chinese government, he formally established 101 Beijing ZhangGuang Group.
In 1999, Beijing Zhang Guang 101 Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd was established.
In 2001, 101 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in Hangzhou Qiandao Lake.
In 2002, Beijing Zhang Guang 101 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established, and the restructuring of private high-tech enterprises.
In 2004, Beijing Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. Zhang Guang 101 passed the ISO9000 quality management system certification. Moreover, Beijing 101 Hair Institute was established, mainly for hair incurable diseases research and new product development.
In 2005, Zhang Guang 101 branch were set up in Japan, Canada, Korea, Pakistan and other.
In 2010, Dr Zhao met UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and President of South Africa Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma at UN-MDGS International Forum in Korea Capitol.
In 2011, the 110th Paris Fair, 101 yew therapies pillow won the Repin invention contest prize.
In 2011, yew therapies pillow received U.S. FDA (United States Drug Administration) certificate.
In 2013, over 30 millions people have been stopping hair loss or regrowthing hair back through 101 treatment ; over 2500 101 franchisee stores in China’s 31 provinces, municipalities, auto-administration region, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao and 101 also has many outlets in Japan, Canada, Pakistan, Singapore and in particularly in Australia. In 1993, 101 products were exclusively launched by 101 Hair & Skin Company (trading as Nuhair) into the Australian market.
